New Things:

Slated on April 30 to May 1, the upcoming Produkto Lokal Weekend Fair promises to be bigger, better, and more exciting! While we are happy to bring back your favorites, we are also ecstatic to welcome new exhibitors that you will surely adore.

SAPP

SAPP, or Succulents and Painted Pots, is the coming together of Mishy’s two great love, nature and arts.

Succulents bring in the outdoor’s serenity while painted pots make each item one-of-a-kind and even more endearing.

SAPP is also designed to keep plants fresh and healthy as they stay neat and beautiful inside your homes and offices.

BJ Chavez Jewelry

Tribal with a contemporary twist, that’s uniquely BJ Chavez.

BJ designs jewelry using Kamagong wood and Carabao nails and fusing them with semi- precious stones. The intricate patterns and clean finish are his trademarks. He wants to create pieces that are both sensual and opulent.

Cinnarific

Very young brand Cinnarific is changing every Ilonggo’s Cinnamon roll experience. From gourmet cinnamon rolls to those topped with cream cheese and other lavish fillings, Cinnarific is becoming a breakfast and snack favorite.

Mkayorganics

Mkayorganics will treat you with body care products taken from nature’s bliss. Nope, we are not talking about high end imported product. We are talking about a truly local and organic brand that keeps you healthy and beautiful while helping farm people earn a living.

Goldens Treats

We Filipinos are fond of showering our loved ones with Pasalubong. For those who are looking for something new to give, the yummy Filipino desserts of Golden Treats are worth a try. Not only are they made of premium ingredients, they also help farmers gain a steady income.

Back With A Vengeance:

They are surely back! Even better, they’re coming in with new surprises that will surely amaze us.

Scherz

During the last fair, Scherz impressed us with distinct laptop bags made from the finest indigenous materials such as abaca, bariw, buri and hand woven fabric.

This April, Scherz is excited to showcase more fashion finds which are modern by functionality and Filipino by design.

Kasingkasing Press

Meanwhile, Kasingkasing Press, the publisher from Guimaras that takes pride in promoting the fine works of local writers is once again launching books. This time, they will be launching “Tingog Sa Iya Mga Alagyan” by Alain Russ Dimzon and Rojulo Pangan and “Repentances and Rehabilitations” by Alain Russ Dimzon.

Bike Fun:

As we come together to celebrate genuine Visayan artistry and heritage through the second Produkto Lokal Weekend Fair, we will also appreciate Iloilo’s liveability through the Produkto Lokal Fun Ride.

On May 1, bikers will gather at the Mango Tree Restaurant in Mandurriao at 4 pm to take on a journey that will pass through Iloilo City’s picturesque views.

At the end of the day, the cyclers will head back to Mango Tree to take pleasure in locally made refreshments. They can also take part in the cultural marvelling and enjoy unique and lovingly made products made by Visayan artisans.

Produkto Lokal Fun Ride is a collaboration between Youth First Initiative and Fitstop bikes.

Performances:

The two-day event will be enlivened by performances from Iloilo’s best talents including Cirquera de Cameleon and Comic Artist Alfer Malaca.
